NHS Treatment

Our excellent NHS treatment can be provided for patients under the age of 18 who fall within the NHS Index of Orthodontic Treatment Need ( IOTN ) . 

How can I find out if my child can get NHS orthodontic treatment?

• NHS orthodontic treatment is accepted via an electronic referral pathway from your dentist. Please ask your dentist to refer to us if you wish to consider NHS orthodontic treatment.
• Moderate to severe orthodontic conditions fall within the NHS criteria for treatment based on the Index of Orthodontic Treatment Need. We will assess each patient carefully and will advise you accordingly. Please do not be put off by this, as many patients still qualify for NHS treatment.
• We will advise you which appliance would best suit each patient and whether they qualify for NHS treatment under the guidelines, at their initial consultation.

If your child does not qualify for NHS treatment, or you decide you prefer not to go the NHS route ,  there are many other options offered outside of the NHS.
